Holiday Control Freaks Blog Tour: All is Calm Ornament & Pop-Up Diorama Card

Welcome!!! Whether you came from Mindy Backes' Bada-Bing Paper Crafting blog or if you just arriving, you're in for a treat! This month, the Control Freaks are creating showcasing holiday projects on our monthly blog tour. It's been cold and snowy here in Central Illinois, so it's definitely feeling like Christmas!

I have two great projects to share with you using the All is Calm Designer Paper from the Holiday Catalog.

For the first project, I used 3" x 1/4" pieces of the designer paper and wrapped them tightly around a skewer (you can use a pencil too). I put all the curly pieces inside a clear ornament bulb and added some of the gorgeous Lost Lagoon ribbon and Snowflake Embellishment. I can't wait to put up our tree so I can hang up this ornament!

For the next project, I used the All is Calm Designer Paper on a fun pop-up card.

This Surprise Diorama Card looks normal on the front, but automatically pops open with dimension when you open in. It folds flat and fits inside a regular envelope. Be sure to visit my blog again tomorrow for a video tutorial so you can learn how to make this awesome card!
